Take a Jeep ride to Neora Valley National Park ( 10 kms). Walk a little inside of the forest to enjoy the beauty of Akar Tsange Water Falls. Neora Valley National Park is a place for number of wild animals.

Rishyap or Rishop

Rishyap or occassionally pronounced Rishop is a small Lepcha village situated at an altitude of 8100 ft on the hill top in Kalimpong hill can be reached from Lava on trekking ( only 4 kms) or Four Wheels ( 12 kms). But the bumpy road can make uncomfortable. Rishop is nature's paradise. The unspoiled village is surrounded by forests of Pine, Birch, Fir and Orchids. The reasons for Rishyap's attractions are the abandunt nature, chirping of numerous known or unknown birds and the majestic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and its neighbouring peaks.

Tiffin Dara or Sunrise View Point of Rishop is just 3 kms uphill trekking through dense forest by negotiating boulder road. But its worth visiting . The magnificient view of Sunrise on Mt. Kanchenjunga and overwhelming 300 degrees view of snowcapped Himalayas really mesmerizing.
